Sehwag and West Indies - A fiasco

In their final warm up match against the West Indies, India alongwith Ajit Agarkar, Munaf Patel and Irfan Pathan bowled out the opposing team for a mere total of 85 runs. But Sehwag was a big diappointment. Powel showed Sehwag the way to the pavilion without giving him a chance to open his run account.

The Indian bowling was great. At the start itself, Agarkar took the wicket of Cris Gayle and then Zaheer Khan took the wicket of Chanderpaul. Both were caught behind by Dhoni. After that Munaf Patel and Irfan Pathan were the two who continued taking wickets one after the other. Lara scored 22 which was the highest score for West Indies.

Munaf Patel bowled a very good spell by giving only 10 runs and taking 4 wickets while Pathan supported him by taking 3 wickets and giving only 25 runs.

Now it was to see how soon India reaches the small total of 85 runs posted by West Indies. Sehwag was a big disappointment but then the two Indian youngsters Dinesh Kartik and Robin Utappa sailed India to a victory in about 20 overs or so.
