New Zealand won the toss and elected to field. England managed to score 209 in 50 overs. Pietersen scored 60 hitting 4 fours and 1 six.
New Zealand in their run chase lost two wickets very early. But then Styris and Oram made a very good partnership and sailed New Zealand to a comfortable victory in just 41 overs.
