It now seems that India as habit of making easy games seem difficult and more exciting. This may be good for the opponent team but not for Indians. Today also, India has created a new twist in Group B by losing to Bangladesh. It has now created an excitement in this group. It seems like India were confident of winning the match and thought that Bangladesh were underdogs.
After winning the toss, India elected to bat which seems to me the worst decision made. Indians seems to be continuing their experiment against the opponents by electing to bat first. Under the given conditions, the Indian team collapsed for a mere total of 191. Thanks to Ganguly and Yuvraj for giving India some respectable total.
But their bowling also seems to be not at par. Bangladesh register a comfortable win over India in just 48.3 overs. Three of their batsman scored half centuries and did not seem to be in trouble when facing the Indian attack. Bangladesh won the match by 5 wickets.
