World Cup 2007 – SriLanka vs Bermuda

In an another one sided match, SriLanka beat Bermuda with a huge margin of 243 runs. SriLanka won the toss and elected to bat. With decent opening stand from Tharanga and Jayasuriya, the strong middle order played their part and gave support to the SriLankan batting to score a huge total of 321 runs. Jayawardene scored 85 of 90 balls and Sangakkara scored 76 of 83 balls. Silva gave momentum to the SriLankan innings by scoring 55 of just 45 balls.

Bermuda were all out for 78 in 24.4 overs. SriLankans thus demonstrated their competence in the World Cup.
